I first began styling hair in the San Francisco Bay Area.   After graduating cosmetology school, I trained under master stylists  in San Francisco developing my  technical skills, & creative artistry for 3 years.  I then moved up to Portland, and began styling hair on my own exclusively at Aveda salons in the Portland metro area. After working in salons for 8 years, in order to have more flexibility (after having my second baby boy) I decided to leave the salon. I began working in my home salon, and on location for weddings.

After working weddings exclusively for a few  years,   I founded the Portland Makeup & Hair team in 2012.  We are an award winning team of incredibly skilled & personable artists.   I'm so proud to be able to say that the company continues to win awards,  be featured in several magazines,  grow & thrive every year.

I continue my education attending top hair classes, shows, & conventions each year.      I also enjoy working on commercial,  editorial,  and a variety of projects.   Some of my most recent clients include:

Intel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Comcast, Senator Gabby Giffords, 2018 Gold medal Olympian Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson, 2018 Gold medal Olympian Rico Roman

I have been a professional cosmetologist for over 20  years, and absolutely love working in the industry. I love what I do, and love that I often get to work with some really amazing artists & friends!

Lover of all things beauty, glam, babies and dogs.   I have been in the industry 17 years.  MAC certified make-up artist.  Special occasion hair stylist. Blonde specialist. I’ve worked from Portland (where I was born and raised) to San Diego, Miami, Italy and now back to Portland to raise my little monster.

I first styled bridal hair when I was 16, and was so captivated by the process that I went on to pursue and earn a license in hair design just a few years later. I’ve had many wonderful experiences in every corner of the ‘hair world’, and bridal styling remains my ‘first love’ and greatest passion. Few things are more delightful than being a part of the joyful energy in the ‘getting ready’ moments on the day of the wedding! It thrills me to work with gorgeous brides and their wonderful bridal party to create hair that matches the beauty of the occasion. Bridal styling combines my love for creativity, communication, and celebration so perfectly - I'm continually amazed and grateful that I get to have so much fun while 'working'. :) Whenever I'm not styling, I love travel and getting opportunities to serve different communities, most recently in Latin America! I'm a born-and-raised Oregonian and I love doing all the outdoorsy things expected of a PNWer. :) I'm a chai snob, a writer, and a notorious early-to-bed advocate, determined to take on the 'grandma vibe' as much as possible. I look forward to meeting you on your big day!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had my hands in hair.   I attended The Academy of Hair Design in Salem, OR where I received my Cosmetology license.  I quickly excelled to the top of my class,  and was the top student in the school for ten consecutive  months.     I continue my education so that I am able to provide my clients with the very best service & skill.   I love that I am able to have my passion be my “job”.  There is something about being able to make a bride feel like her best self, as well as all of the beautiful women she hand picked to be by her side.

When I’m not working weddings,  I stay very busy-  I have two beautiful girls that keep my life very interesting,  and busy and a husband who just might be Prince Charming. I’ve grown up in the PNW and adore all it has to offer.   I truly take pride in what I do,  and I love that I get to meet amazing people while doing it!
